Health Advisory: Measles Exposure and Vaccination Outreach
Mecklenburg County Public Health has issued an official alert following three confirmed cases of measles in the region. While the cases are not linked to a specific source within the county, health officials have identified several exposure sites that were visited by infected individuals in early February. Residents who were at the following locations should monitor for symptoms and check their vaccination status:
- Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center (1000 Blythe Blvd.): Feb. 3 (6:30–11:30 p.m.) and Feb. 4 (7:00 p.m.–midnight).
- Chipotle (239 S. Kings Dr.): Feb. 3 (9:50–11:50 p.m.).
- Goodwill (58085 University Point Blvd.): Feb. 4 (12:00–3:45 p.m.).
- Goodwill (3710 West W.T. Harris Blvd.): Feb. 4 (2:00–4:40 p.m.).
