Residents who visited the following locations during the specified times are advised to monitor for symptoms and contact their healthcare provider if they are unvaccinated or immunocompromised:
- Vista Auction (2500 Sardis Road): January 29 and 30, between 11:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m.
- Lidl (9318 Monroe Road): January 30, between 2:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Officials emphasize that these businesses are not the source of the infection and remain safe to visit. However, as there are currently three confirmed cases in Mecklenburg County, the public is encouraged to verify their MMR (measles, mumps, and rubella) vaccination status.
